There is a question on one of my job applications that asks about drivers license suspension. A few years ago my drivers license was suspended because of a lack of communication between Georgia's DoT and Florida's DoT. Basically, I had a parking ticket that I paid in Georgia, but Georgia failed to report this to Florida and my license was suspended in Florida. As soon as I found this out, I had it reinstated with a simple visit to the DMV to clear things up. Also, I had my CBC and the suspension did not show up. Could this hurt my chances of finding a job with this city's Ministry of Education? Is it cause for Visa denial? Since it was a mistake and doesn't appear on my CBC, should I even admit it?

Also, the application asks if I am applying to other ESL jobs in Korea. I applied to EPIK, but I am no longer considering working for them. I'd much rather work for the Ministry of Education in the city of my choosing. Could answering yes to this question hurt my chances of getting a job?

It was a miscommunication in the first place and our government saw no point in ratting you out for it, so why do it to yourself?

Answer "NO".
It was not a criminal suspension like a DUI or worse.

It does not show on your CBC so it is irrelevant.
