| Howdy fellers! I'm trying to get a cash advance on my samsung credit card to buy a new motorcycle. I went to samsungcard.co.kr, and found that my limit was 2.5mil, but I have no idea how to get it. Can I put a cash advance into monthly payments? Where do I go to get it? Sorry for the trouble but any help would be appreciated. Cheers |

| BTW I called samsung from the number on their website and they couldn't really assist me. The guy I called couldn't really speak English well even though it was the international line. Wish I spoke Korean well enough to do this (or anything for the matter), but don't we all. |

You can't get a cash advance to your bank account as Samsung gives you a name in Hangul which won't match the name on your Korean bank account. You will have to try an ATM.
You cannot put a Cash Advance into monthly payments, it needs to be repaid on the next or possibly the following statement.
Do you really need the motorcycle, you will pay a fee of 0.43% plus interest at over 20%pa.
If you really want the motorcycle on the card you will have to buy it from a shop and ask them for the number of months you want to pay when they process the transaction. |

My Samsung card has a 5 million won limit.
It allows me to take a cash advance OUT of 2 million won (the other 3 million has to be purchases).
(1) Go to a Woori or KB ATM.
(2) Press "English"
(3) Press "Domestic Card"
(4) Press "Credit card services"
(5) Press "Withdraw cash"
(6) Type in the amount you want to withdraw
You will then get the cash
With Samsung - when you receive your Monthly bill and if you don't want to pay it all back the next month - phone them on (02) 2000-8428 - the operators speak EXCELLENT English
just tell them you wish to pay the minimum payment or however much you want to pay.
They will take the money from your account (that you want to pay) and advise you that the remaining will be transferred over to your next months bill..

| Holy bergina forever, I thank you from the bottom of my bank act, which is really low (but my heart is high!). Much appreciated advice on the number, hopefully this small segment of text will stay up for other people trying to do a cash advance. Check it, and thank forever~ |
