I have to do ANOTHER medical. And pay for it out of my pocket. Anyone know a cheap place to go to in Suwon? And if you can fail for natural women issues? I have my ARC, so Korea thinks I passed. |

Failed? What does that mean? Your school fired you because of something on your medical exam? |

Failed. I didn't pass. I have to retake it. Before anyone says anything about drugs, etc, that's not it. I just took the medical test at the wrong time of the month. And now I have to repay, more, becuase I failed. And take it again. Which is why I'm looking for a cheap option in Suwon. |

Nope. Kidney failure. Blood in urine means kidney failure. This would be funny if it weren-t happening to me. I told them WHY there was blood.
Funny thing is that I PASSED according to Korea, since I was given my ARC. My school just thinks that I have kidney failure |

You can only fail if you have a contagious disease. Something that risks the rest of the population. Otherwise you can pretty much work until you drop dead. |

I would just tell my school that if they want a new medical, they can pay for it. Are they going to fire you if you don't get the medical? |

I had a fatty liver when I came to Korea... My liver function tests were pretty high... Instead of looking at my weight and patient history (fresh out of university with 4 years of beer and fast food under my belt - literally) they decided that I must obviously have Hep. C... Despite not having any other symptoms and having no history that would suggest where I picked up Hep C...
Low and behold I had to go back for an ultrasound and guess what they found? Fatty liver!... Who knew? lol...
I agree with a poster a few posts ago... If you've got your ARC and are good with immigration, tell your school to go to hell... The medical isn't for them anyway... |

Here's the thing. I DON_T have kidney failure. I know WHy there was blood in my urine. It happens every month.
I told them they can pay for it. I still am waiting to get paid for the first one. I have no problems undergoing whatever test they want done. I just have a problem paying for it.
My school said I failed, according to them. They are worried that if I have kideny failure, they will have to foot the bills. LIke I said, the Korean govt has no problem with it. I got my ARC. |

They can, and they might, and there wouldn't be anything she could do about it if they did. |

Okay, so what could she do if they fired her? Go to Labor Relations? They wouldn't care. Who is left? |

Go to the clinic that conducted the test and ask them to explain the phenomena. Same thing happened to me, and it's simple to clear up the miscommunication. Why would you think of paying for another test?? |
