Hi there. I am looking for some suggestions of places to visit in Korea with my gf for the May holiday weekend.

We are looking to travel within Korea and possibly visit some island, beaches or cool landscapes.

We wont have a car and will be looking to leave Seoul on Thursday night vis bus or train. ..

Thinking about Uilleongdo off the west coast (is it enough time to get there?) or perhaps some mountainous area that doesn't have a huge amount of actual hiking..

All ideas welcome..

Thank You..

one of my favorite places was Yongwol in Kangwon-do. small town in the mountains, lots of touristy stuff, but no foreigners when I went with my gf at the time. we stayed in a rental house in the Valley of Kim Sagat which was downright awesome
