Jeju is sounding more and more appealing every time I look into it. I would love to teach there and go with a good friend of mine but what are the odds?
I'm going through EPIK now for the Fall admit and was wondering what are the chances that I get placed at the same school/city/province/country/hemisphere as my request. Does it help or hurt that we both are requesting Jeju?
Danke. |

I've heard requesting special locations puts you in a different priority group.
Jeju is kind of isolated the "Tropical Climate" is a myth, though snow doesn't happen there is a bitter winter wind.
Hope things work out for you. |

I was thinking of listing Jeju on my application form, but was wondering if I'd be bored there. |

Jeju, isn't tropical, bus is considered sub-tropical by the Koppen climate classification.
Most likely you'll get a Jeju placement if requested. Most people will request Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon and the other metro cities. The other areas people are mostly just put there because the popular areas have been filled. |
