Hi guys. To make a long story short, I have been in Korea for the past 2 months with a hagwon that just terminated me (apparently, a few parents didn't like me and complained).
Well, I just realized that I never actually signed a contract with the school. They sent me a copy of the contract when I was hired, but I never signed it and neither did they. What does this mean for me? Is this legal? Advice would be much appreciated. |

Did you have an E2 or were you just on a tourist entry stamp?
IF you had an actual E2 in your passport then there is a contract on file at immigration with "your" signature on it.
If you were on a stamp, quietly leave. If you make noise you will be busted and the problems will only get worse for you. |

E-2 visa--the school seemed totally legit, so did the recruiter. Now that they want to fire me, I'm very concerned about this. |

noo problem.... get a LOR and find a new job. IF you can do it within 2 weeks you can transfer your visa to the new employer.
If you can't then you have 2 weeks from your last date of employment to inform immigration that you are unemployed.
When you do inform immigration that you are unemployed then will cancel your visa and you will be given (by immigration) a 30 day exit order to leave the country.
Leave and return, find a new job, do a visa run and keep going with your Asian adventure
or
just go home.
Your choice.
