I just got a Crock-pot and all I know how to make is Beans! I hate beans BTW. Do you know of any recipes that are idiot proof with ingrediants found in Korea?

Asian Chicken

1 green pepper, cut into stips1 yellow pepper, cut into strips
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced

1 4 1/2-oz. jar whole mushrooms, drained
1/2 tsp ground ginger
4-6 boneless chicken breasts
4 Tbs hoisin sauce
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:
Place red pepper, green pepper, yellow pepper, garlic, water chestnuts, mushrooms and ginger in stoneware; stir to blend. Place chicken breast on top of vegetables. Drizzle hoisin sauce over top of chicken and sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours.

No google is not broke.
Where do you find Hoisin sauce and water chestnuts in Inchon??? That's the main reason I am asking here for recipes. Rolling Eyes Plus I'd like to hear from people who've actually tried the recipes before I end up with a pot of blackened non-descript food.

I found both at home-plus. I imagine you can get them at e-mart as well.
I have also seen them at kim's club and home-ever.

I bought it from G-market. The plug is wired for North America though.

cheap cut of beef, tomatoes, onions, chicken stock. Sear the meat, brown the onions, skin the tomatoes (boil them for like 1 min and it comes right off) then put it all in the crock pot and let it cook for a long ass time. Put in whatever other veggies/greens/herbs you want at the end. Add salt.

The reason you are asking for recipes is cause you don't know where to buy Hoisin sauce and water chestnuts in Inchon?

Anyway, besides the big stores like Homeplus and Lottemart, theres an imported food store to the side of the Emart located behind U of Incheon, in the factory area. They have a large and interesting inventory of stuff there from a good number of countries.

Carnitas- take a pork shoulder or butt, cut it in half if its really big, and rub it with cumin, garlic powder and onion powder. Put it in the crockpot, put a little bit of water and a bay leaf, and cook it on low for 10 hours, or until fork tender. Then take it out and shred it using a fork. I like my carnitas crispy, so I put it in a pan and crisp it up. No oil needed, since it already has a lot of fat.

I usually eat it with Spanish rice and tortillas. To make Spanish rice, you need a rice cooker. Cook the rice as normal, but put in a spoonful of tomato paste, some diced garlic and onions, a bit of olive oil and some cumin and salt. I usually put some cheese on top when eating.
