So yesterday I'm on the bus to the nearest big city and the alchy janitor from school sits next to me. He reeks of booze and is stumbling all over the place and ends up sleeping with his head in my lap for an hour... We get to affore mentioned city and he takes me out for some drinkies. I follow up with some more drinkies when I get home. I wake up still caned this morning and have trouble relieving my bladder.... I have only 3 mins to get to the bus stop so I jump on my moped and start 'er flying... On the main road despite the fact I'm doing like 70 kph the local middle school girls who always shout 'hi man!' at me literally jump out in the road 100 metres ahead of me, right in my path and start their routine of - 'oh hey man!! Oh man!! so claydgee! where are you from man! oh hi man!!!!

It seems shouting in English at the foriegner is more important than not getting ran over.... I manage to beep my horn and dodge them and get on the bus....

One of the school's parents is sitting on the bus with two of my students, I'm wearing my suit but I notice in the window that I forgot to do my hair... I say hi and they say hi back and I fall asleep...

I get to school and after a few deep breaths I muster up the courage to walk clumsilly into the teacher's room with a hearty 'Anyeong hasseyo!' and the VP clocks on that I'm hungover / drunk and laughs and announces to the rest of the staff - 'Oh! _________ teacher is walking very dynamically today' I make my coffee and then retire to my desk (no classes until 11 - phew ) and then a bunch of 3rd graders come in and one says 'hi ________ teacher' and puts a sticker on my nose. I swear to God even the kids know when I've had a few beers the day before and the funny thing is both them and the staff seem to think it's pretty cool / admirable...!

Good time, good times....

You wear a suit to elementary school? Good on ya, my suits have been collecting dust since I came back from Japan.

Being drunk while you typed that must explain why it's worse writing than what some of my 1st year students pen without guidance. At any rate, it's rather unprofessional to show up for work drunk.

Oh bless you wise one for your instructive words of guidance! Please make the world a better place for humanity by continuing to proffer your wisdom to everone you meet today!

May the Gods sprinkle scented water on your house and may your sons have many wives!

I am almost weeping with humility right now...

Wearing a suit is the best camoflauge for a hangover / still drunk.
