Hey guys, it's my first day in the Republic of Korea, and I'm heavily jet-lagged but also in the inital shock stage of realizing I do not know a soul. 
Anyone on the forums teaching in Gwangju (Jeollanam-do) at the moment? Want to hang out? PM me... I still have yet to try soju. 
Don't know if this type of post is allowed, my apologies if it isn't. |

go to the Speakeasy tonight. it's pub quiz night. you'll meet people.
it's downtown. if you're walking from the YMCA (you can tell a cabbie "shinae, YMCA") towards the post office, continue on straight until you pass the Burger King. Speaks will be on the left, down an alley.
