I'm in Seoul but cannot find any USBs for the life of me. Where can I find them other than in Hi-Mart (don't know where one is here).
Thanks,

OK I'll bite.
You can get them at most any store here that sells electronics.
E-mart, Homeplus, Samsung/LG stores, stationary stores, etc. |

They give 'em away at room salons.
Or so I am told. |

I've seen them also at the E-mart electronics section. They're cheap. |

I've been given at least three for free. See if your school has a spare one lying around.
I bought a 2GB one from Lotte Mart. It cost about 22,000 which is expensive, but it came with a free 4GB version of the same model. |

They're cheaper at Yongsan electronic market.
BUT - and I'm no tech whizz - methinks they are older models and I found after only a year every computer I plug it into now tells me some kind of warning message / pop up to do with drivers and usb 2.o ports or something... It's all in Korean so I'm not 100% sure what it means but I think the general gist is that my usb stick is past it's prime.
Oh yeah - why the hell can't they just make stuff that doesn't need updating? I mean they must already have the tech that they'll be pushing us as the 'new thang' in a couple of years time... But no! They want to sell allthe old stuff off first to make more money out of us the basterds... And then tell us it;s old in a year's time and sell us more cr@p... Genius! |
