I've been trying to get my KEB Mac internet banking set up for well over a month. I've encountered a lot of indifference from the staff at my branch in Sinchon and I've finally reached my limit.

Can anyone recommend a helpful branch, in central Seoul?

The english telephone service has always been quite helpful for me. The number is on the website. Do you have your little dongle that gives you the access number? Its a little white rectangle that gives you a new number every time u press it. It's required for macs.

So it's possible to get to work on a Mac? My branch told me it was impossible to access or whatever. I always have to switch over to the Windows side to use the Internet banking. Huh.

Yes, its definitely possible to do internet banking on a mac with KEB. It works flawlessly and is all in english. I pay all my bills and send money home from my mac. Well worth it if you can get it sorted out. A representative actually came directly to my school and set everything up for me as she was trying to get teachers from the Gagnam school board to sign up with KEB. I highly recommend KEB for their english internet banking.

I went to this branch and probably had a different person help me out. Her English was good, not fluent tho, but her customer service skills needed some work.

Ahh, it was the account manager who helped me. Her English was not very good but she brought in a guy from upstairs who was fluent. The service was excellent, so probably a different person.

The KEB branch at Olympic Park has a male teller who speaks good English and has helped me out several times. If you're ever in this neck of the woods.

He even stayed late (like 7pm late!) so that I could come to get personal help.
