I was just wondering how much an SAT teacher can expect relative to an ESL teacher. Will their salary also include housing and other benefits standard with ESL teaching? Thanks for your input.

Test prep hagwons pay 25000 won - 35000 won per hour. (higher - depending on experience)

And most of these hagwons give 30 hours a week. 40-50 hours a week during the summer, winter, and spring breaks.

30 hours a week x 25000 = 3 mil
30 hours a week x 35000 = 4.2 mil

50 hours a week x 25000 = 5 mil
50 hours a week x 35000 = 7 mil

------------------------------

- usually no provided housing
- few, if any vacation days
- professional working environment
- students are there to study, not to screw around

PM me if you have any more questions.
