Despite the fact that I can't grow a beard yet, I'm almost all growed up, me. And I love the song. Hate the woman, mind.

Though before I'm ripped into, I also like progressive rock and post-modern classical, minimalism, serialism, experimental, electronic, some of the romantic classical era - Which technically makes me an old man.

The sheer amount of popular music cliches and banalities crammed into that one little song elevates it to an art form. I tell you scholars will be appreciating how nakedly manipulative and cynical that song is for generations to come.

I'm actually writing a thesis on the song as we speak. So far i've got 'good groove, catchy melody, simple beats and melody, lyrics copied and pasted from another song with the word ordering changed, heavy autotune.

In bullet point form. Conclusion: Everything a song needs to succeed.
