|
|
Like most Korean apartments my ceiling is wallpapered (ceilingpapered). Why is this? It strikes me that ceilingpapering must be even more difficult than wallpapering, and even that is beyond my arts and crafts skills. It also looks much worse than paint.
Who decided that ceilings needed to be wallpapered in Korea? Have they been doing this for hundreds of years? Or only since people moved into apartments? Do other countries engage in ceilingpapering? Did I only ever live and visit weird houses back home without ceilingpapering?
My ceiling looks weird. And SOMEONE put effort into making it look weird. Weirdos. |

Interesting observation.
I suppose, for certain reasons, the ladies spend a lot more time noticing things like ceilings. |

| Ceilingpapering is extremely important to 50% of the missionary position crowd. Yes, it has been practiced here in Korea for the last 5,000 years and it is a bit culturally insensitive of you to question it. I'm willing to bet all of this month's salary that every single apt in Korea that has wallpaper also has ceilingpaper. |

Um... extremely important? If, while in missionary position, she's that concerned about what the ceiling looks like, you're doing something very wrong. |

Nothing whatsoever personal is meant, but are you delusional in other aspects of life as well? Have you ever discussed 'faking it' with an honest and candid woman? I recommend you don't. It can be very deflating...to the ego. So I am told. |

If both of you are girls, how does this change the dynamics of the missionary position? I'm at a loss here. |

OUCH. My girlfriend is a real girl wise guy, but the sad truth as to why she doesn't know I have a ceiling is that she is in Ottawa, and has as such has legitimately never seen my ceiling. And I can't afford a blow up because I spent all my money on pink shirts and metrosexual haircuts in an ill-advised effort to fit in here. *sigh* |

The only way you'll fit in is if the back of your shirt has the Mona Lisa in sequins with the words "Have a Good Time" written in cursive in rhinestones.
Then, maybe, maybe, you'll fit in. |
