|
|
I might (95% sure) resign from my EPIK spot a month before it is scheduled to end to take a position at an international school. The contract end date and IS opening dates overlap by a few weeks and I gotta give 30 days notice.
I'm American so I should get pension with no problem. But I remember reading somewhere that after a first year completed contract, which I've done, the other contracts severance are pro-rated on months completed.
Anyone have any knowledge on this? Thanks |

Looks like you're gonna miss out on your severance. |

You are on your second contract currently? If you didn't withdraw from your pension last year then you get last year's pension plus the months you've worked until now. However, if you withdrew from your pension after your first contract and haven't completed 12 months you can't withdraw.
Severance will definitely not be paid, unfortunately. |
