Just so you know.... they are showing Dark Knight on OCN at the moment. Pretty good for basic cable.

They're showing the new Spartacus series from 10-12 on Sunday/Tuesday nights as well. Don't even think that's been released in NZ yet.

Yea I noticed that. They will edit out the boobies and decapitations, so what's the point?

Dark Knight had key scenes missing. They completely excised any reference to whats her face getting blown up. One second Gordon and Dent/Twoface were facing off in some dark alley, the next batman was there, talking all gravelly voiced. It made no sense.

Sorry to derail the thread but Spartacus Blood and Sand is my new guilty pleasure. I've been watching it since the pilot episode and it just keeps getting better and better. The pilot was anything but mediocre but that last episode I jsut watched was crazy.

THe show isn't just blood, guts and soft core porn like a lot of media critics say it is after having only watched the pilot episode. The story picks up quite a bit and interesting characters are developed. There are also a ton of surprises.

Might have to pick it back up. I watched the pilot and second episode, but thought I had better watch Rome first. Finished it last week. I'm on Breaking Bad and Six Feet Under right now. I think I have room in my schedule for some swords and sandals fare.[/i]

I'm watching it on Netflix. They will edit so much that the show will be unwatchable

I'm hoping that soehow the show will end with Crixus killing Spartacus, (or Spartacus gives up his life) in a Primus at the end and gain his freedom so he can free Navea. I think Spartacus would do it since he now knows how much Crixus loves her and he understands that feeling.

Yup.

Is it possible to get a netfllix account as a non US citizen? I would seriously be willing to pay for it. Why won't they take my money?

I use my parents account, but I use Hotspot SHield to route my IP to a US server so I can watch anything in the US if you mask your IP and have a credit card, it shouldnt be a problem. although an address might be an issue, unless you know someone there

Man, if i watched the heavily edited version I wonder what the unedited one is like. It was basically a lot of swearing, gore and sex scenes. They only pixelated the genitalia.

On the topic of censorship though, have any of you seen that show about people getting done over? It was like an hour long show of people getting maimed or killed on camera.

Plenty 'o boobies (Xena Warrior Princess boobies!) and they showed a guy with both legs chopped off at the knees in an episode I watched last night.

Crixus is a douchebag. If Spartacus dies for him that will most definitely bite the big one.

Batiatus is probably the most interesting character. An utter badass he is.

Saw a Korean late night movie with some steamy scenes of Yujin Kim(Sun from Lost)

The bed scenes were awesome she was either having a real orgasm or faking it really well.
There is a scene at the end showing a pretty graphic portrayal of her rear profile. Nice rounded bum. A little side boobs too
