Sorry if this question seems stupid, I'm new to Korea.
I have heard that there are a few guitar shops in Hongdae, but I havent seen any. In particular, I hear Metal Driver is a very nice shop. Any help locating any guitar shop would be appreciated. |

saw one friday i guess. after you cross the street on the way to the clubs from the subway. there will be a big alley ot the right and also a smaller alley parallel to the street you are on. that was where the dude that has the huge dog and sells cotton candy sets up shop. the guitar shop was in the alley to the right.
pm me if i didnt make any sense. |

If you're in Seoul, you'd be better off going to Nakwon Sangga (or however you anglicize it) in Insadong. |

Do a search for "nakwon" or "nakwon arcade" - Heading back there this weekend to pick up a maverick.
It's a huge arcade filled with guitars or any other musical instruments you might want to buy. Remember to haggle, and if the price is too good to be true then it usually is (they've been busted a couple of times for selling fake gibson's/ibanez') but just use your common sense and you'll be fine. |

I appreciate the advice, but I basically live in hongdae and I'm looking for easy guitar accessories (strings, pics, etc) not guitars themselves |

Anyone know of any cheap 4-channel mixers or Audio Interfaces one could obtain in Seoul?
I was in the market for one last year, but that was when I had my x64 Vista PC (not conducive for interfaces). I'm just looking for something simple, with decent pre-amps, and -most importantly- cheap.
I tried talking some of the salesmen down in Insadong to no avail. I realize that there's a discrepancy because of the exchange rate (from US$), but it was still more than I was willing to give up. |

To find MD, go out exit 4 of the Hongdae subway station. Turn right onto the first side street. It's on the left in the first block, on the second floor. |
