It's getting that time again and I am curious about any ideas anyone has. I can use the same activities for different schools but I'm kinda blank this year.
I always do a recipe but I need a few more things. Active if possible. Thanks. |

Would help if we knew the age of the kids you're working with
My elementary kids loved paint by number... |

Step One- Find out which classroom you will be teaching in. Find out if there is a TV monitor in there that can be connected to your computer so you can use Powerpoint games and go on the internet.
Step Two- Become a member of EFL Classroom 2.0 ning. You can easily find it under Yahoo.
Step Three- Surf EFL Classroom 2.0. Some of the activities I strongly recommend are " Baam, Fling the Teacher, Last One Standing, What's the Wordle, Jeopardy, Pass the Paper, Download as many of these as possible. You can modify and change them laster the important thing is to have the templates so you can use the activities and design them towards the students level.
Step Four- Go into Karafun ( link is under Kareoke in EFL Classroom)
See if you can get sound in your classroom. This provides the song with
Kareoke words in the TV screen. Plus you can get Wondergirls songs translated into English
Step five- Go into Bogglesworld and find lots of Word Finds and Cross word puzzles. |
