I worked at a HS in a podunk town! My school said they would give me a good reference yet they did not and now no school will touch me.
Does anyone know how I can "over come" this?
Does anyone know of any good recruiters that would be willing to listen and "defend me"?
There are two sides to every story and I would hate to see my former school win once again, what they put me through was ridiculous! |

You are doomed for believing your school for a good reference. |

wow, to think a speaker of the King's English had to endure all that in a podunk town, and then they have the unmitigated gall to not write a glowing recommendation.....

| I don't know what to do about it, but I seem to be having the same problem. My school put nothing into me as far as training was concerned, I worked very hard to figure things out, and I know that my students learned a lot during my year, even if I did not master classroom management in that short time. It's very unfair. |

| You don't need a reference from the school. But what you could do with is a "Certificate of Employment." The school has a legal obligation to give you one. This will prove you worked there for one year. |
