I've been working here for around 6 years. It's prety good. Not as bustling as Seoul or Busan but it is relatively cheap, clean (for Korea) and has enough "foreignish" restaurants to keep me happy.

If you do need the big city of Seoul it is only about 40-45 minutes by KTX, Busan is 3 hours by car. Being in the center does make everything in Korea accessable.
