Okay, I'm curious about something. Like most E-2 visa holders, I'm apparently required to have a medical exam and submit the results when I apply for my ARC. According the Immigration's website, that means an:
- Original medical checkup including drug test(TBPE test) and AIDS test(HIV test) issued within 3 months from the application date
※ Medical checkup should be issued by general hospital, hospital, clinic under Article 3 of the Medical Law or public health center under Article 7 of the Regional Health Law or medical center under Article 8.
As it happens, I had an employer-funded medical exam here in the U.S. last month that included TBPE and HIV testing. Can I just bring the lab results with me and save myself the cost/hassle of another physical? Or do I have to get all these tests done all over again at a Korean hospital? |
