US youngsters are too fat to fight, warn generals
Rising rates of obesity among young Americans could undermine the future of the US military, two retired generals have warned.
More than a quarter of young Americans are now too fat to fight, they said.

The 'fat' stereotype is always something I've been familiar with both at home and overseas, but god, every time I go back to America I am absolutely flabbergasted at how many really, really fat people there are waddling around.
I imagine there will be a far reaching effect throughout many facets of society. Not surprised the military is already on to that. |
