|

Still in my first week in Korea, and I guess I meet with some of the teachers today, and they want to learn some English, specifically travel scenarios? Anyone have a good site that has some, maybe a PPT? They kind of sprung this on me :/ |

Just think about things like language needed to check in at the counter, get your boarding pass, and seat assignment, getting through immigration, telling someone at baggage claim that you have lost your luggage, asking for something from the flight attendant on the plane. Alternately, similar stuff for buying a bus or train ticket, etc.
Pick some necessary vocab, think of some dialogue, you could put together a basic ppt for the visual vocab if you need this to look good, but if this is just some basic stuff, don't do too much....they'll just expect that every time. If you want to do it, fine, but give yourself some time to decide if you want to do too much. |

Bogglesworld Survival English.
You can get lots of Powerpoints on
EFL Classroom 2.0 ning
Look under Instructional Powerpoints Side by Side.
There are some great ones for asking directions and shopping. |
