Here is some more information.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes- I knew it was stupid to take on a foster with one month left. But when I saw him I couldn't resist. I can keep him until May 15th. I am hoping he will find his forever home by then. Please help!
Animal Name : Button (because of his little button nose and he's as cute as a button!)
City/Location : Itaewon
Breed : Shorkie (Schtizu-Yorkie mix)
Sex : Male
Spayed / Neutered : too young- you will be required to get him nuetered
Age : 2 months
Size : 1.5 kilos
Health status/ vaccinations : He had the DHPPL on 4/11
Behaviour/Personality : Super sweet and playful- fine with other dogs
Rescue story : Found on the street and taken to Karama (I couldn't resist)
Adoption fee: 70,000 (i already donated and took him to the vet- would like to be compensated)
I think he's a shorkie (schitzu- yorkie mix)... http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/shorkietzu.htm
He came from Karama and is super cute. Everyone was oooooing and aaawwwing at him on the way home. I think he'll be fine with other dogs since he's just a baby. He is so sweet and playful. Wants to snuggle on your lap and cover you with kisses. Also I took the other dogs out and left him and he didn't cry! So I don't think he has major seperation issues.
Right now he has the flu, but I took him to the vet and they gave an antibody shot and said he should be better by the end of the week- but until then I have to keep him seperate from the boys. The shelter said he came in with some dogs who have distemper, but he was in quarantine for 7 days and showed no signs of it. So theres a good chance he's fine. But for the next month he cant eat or drink with my dogs and they can't be around his bodily fluid. I think if he has distemper he should start to show in the next couple days.
Please contact me if you are interested. AND MAKE SURE TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION FORM.

it was a stupid thing to do, but I also think if you wanted to do something nice for the dog then you wouldn't be trying to recover your 70,000won costs.
* I'm not saying this to make any personal gain from it. I wouldn't get an animal here because I wouldn't be able to take it back to Ireland without it being in quarantine for a minimum of 6months. That would not be fair on an animal. |

it's not the fact that it's expensive. I was just saying that if you reeally wanted to do a good deed for the puppy then you should be looking to give it to a good home for free rather than trying to recoup your losses.
Anyway, I don't want to hijack your thread when I'm not contributing to finding the little thing a new home. |

I am not going to debate the OPs decision to adopt the puppy. All I want to say is: that is one super cute puppy! I wish I could adopt it, but my boss just told me he won't be renewing my contract. Good luck! |

no no. i understand. its just all animal rescue korea animals are required to have a 50,000 won donation. lots of times if a puppy is free people pick it up on a whim. they're more likely to think about it if they have to pay money. |

oh I understand, that's a good way for them to be. It is one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. I hope you find someone to take good care of him. |

I adopted this little guy on Saturday. He's the best little pup I could have asked for! He's cuddly, follows me around, plays well, loves meeting new people and loved our outings at Lake Park this weekend (thank God for nice weather). I couldn't be happier with my decision to adopt Tai! (renamed) |
