My recruiter told me two days before I was supposed to fly to Korea that my departure was being delayed for a month. Seeing as they had me rush to get my visa and as I had quit my job and moved out of my apartment I was a bit upset by this.
Has anyone else had this happen? Luckily I can stay with my parents for a month and possibly get unemployment to keep from burning through my savings, but I would be in real trouble if this wasn't the case. |

I would start looking for another job. It's never a good sign for them to cancel at the last minute. Did they give a reason? The leaving teacher decide to stay an extra month? A big drop in student enrollment? |

They were going to move another teacher out of their place and into another I guess and he/she didnt want to move. I didn't know I would be bumping someone out of their place until they told me this. |
