|
|
Here's the deal:
I'm starting my M.Ed. in Secondary Education in the fall and am required to have an Identity Verified Print Fingerprint Card before the start of the fall term.
The forms are on the way, but I've been unable to find information regarding fingerprinting services (either with law enforcement agencies or private companies) in Seoul. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Here's the Arizona Department of Public Safety general information page (if anyone's curious): http://www.azdps.gov/Services/Fingerprint/
One thing to note: the fingerprinting service provider (I don't know how else to say that) has to mail the documents in for me; it's not something I can do on my own.
I appreciate any assistance you kind folks can provide. Thanks. |

Two suggestions
1. If you HAVE to use Arizona's forms, and do it their way... then go to your Dong or Gu's police station. They can do finger prints there. If you don't know where yours is, ask your work... OR... go in to a local police shop and ask for finger prints (they can't do it) then have them write down the address of where you CAN get it done. Next... once they fingerprint you (They should use a translation service) explain that you need an official envelope to put the fingerprints in for mailing. (Dont say they have to mail it, they wont... but they will probably give you their envelope).
2. Why don't you just get federal prints?
a) You can download the forms online and get it done ASAP
b) You don't have to have a police envelope to send it back in. |

I got an FBI check for a public school job and just went to my local police station to get the prints done.
I was very surprised that they did the service for free. |

Thanks for the response, fellas.
Yes, sadly, I've got to use the Arizona DPS forms. It's a pain in the butt, I know, but it's the last step in the process, so...just have to grin and bear it, I suppose.
Thanks so much for the info! |

Is it better to hit up the police station or the USO office? Thoughts? |
