Forgive me, this is not a come on, but I am truly interested in this topic. Very Happy

Ok, I have been in Korea for about two years..and I find that most of my friends that live out here are Aries, Geminis, Libras, Aquarius and Sagittarius..and that makes sense..Going abroad appeals to their sense of adventure..I myself am a Cancer (Go Cancer it's your Birthday)..and the money I make appeals to me Embarassed , I like to save and it provides security (a must for Cancers)

I am NOT an astrological guru or anything, but I know a lil bit about Zodiac signs and I find it interesting that your sign MAY have (slightly)influenced your decision to come to Korea..

Ah yes..I know there are a few Cancers, Leos, and Pisces out here (and the rare Scorpio or Capricorn sighting)..but truthfully..Aries, Geminis, Libras, Aquarius and Sagittarius thrive out here..

So in short..for a lil research purposes and FUN!..Post your sign and tell me why you came to Korea (Money? Adventure? etc)! I bet most of you are Aries, Geminis, Libras, Aquarius and Sagittarius (And if you're a Capricorn, Scorpio or Pisces PM me..lol..I kid I kid)

Mr Dean..I so feel you on your reason..(sigh) That is another reason why I came back to Korea..

BTW..Since we are water signs..we don't like to become stagnant either..so we will flow..until we find what we are looking for..Sometimes change is good..and sometimes it's mind numbing..Yikes!

Reason: I came to Korea on a whim. Didn't know much about the country before coming here.

Don't know much about Astrology.

Sign: Pisces

Reason: Came to Korea on an exchange program with my University. Wanted a change from my usual life. I knew a fair deal about the country, did my research and all that. Previous to that, I basically listened to K-pop and watched a few dramas.

I still have another semester that I can do somewhere else... haven't decided where though~

Pisces, but I was born in the year of the snake in the Chinese Zodiac. The two are pretty contradictory. I would never have known about this stuff if I hadn't lived with a woman who was heavily into it for a year or so. Her passion for it made it entertaining.

I came to Korea mostly for a change and partly for money. Existential dilemma...

Cool I like this thread OP Very Happy

I dont know much about my sign or any sign for that matter but would love to hear how my reasons and sign match up.

Im a Virgo.
I came here first to do something different and experience life here. I came back because jobs were very scarse and I didnt want to waste myself doing nothing and becoming lazy.

What do you think?

Sign: Cancer
Reason: Like Fox said above - came to Korea on a whim. 4th Year here now and I continue to stay because, as you mentioned Amethyst - I'm enjoying watching my savings grow.

Cancer.
I was transferred around Asia by my last employer, and eventually transferred to unemployment. I returned to Korea, steered to a uni job by a friend. Great way to finance my Masters.

I'm a believer in astrology (not the newspaper variety). So much so, that I often attempt to guess birthdays of people based on conversation and appearances. Too many coincidences to be ignored.

FWIW, I have tested your theory on my workplace. The overwhelming majority of 30 teachers are:

- Sagg
- Aquar
- Libra
- Gemini

If anyone doubts this stuff, I'm willing to do your chart and attempt to change your mind. PM me with your birthdate, time, and place.

Gemini.

At first I came here because it sounded exciting, now I stay because I don't really see much point in going home.

Saggitarius with Gemini moon. I came as my boyfriend (we met in Japan) is Korean, plus I love travel and adventure!

My mum loved the astrologer LINDA GOODMAN, so i grew up reading about the stars-highly recommend her fantastic books. I also like this German site. It's easy to get free very personalised horoscopes. CHECK IT OUT.
