|

Hey everyone!
I hope someone a bit more tech aware than I am can point me in the right direction. I want to start up a video blog... basically, each entry would be include a video and text, the option to leave a comment, etc. I would also like to have a forum attached.
Further more, I want to have my video blog available in iTunes as a video podcast.
Finally, I want my own domain name. (example: www.whatevernameichoose.com)
Can anyone offer a nudge in the right direction?
Thanks kindly!

Looks like I've been looking for wordpress and accompanied hosting. Does that sound right? |

wordpress + Squarespace for domain and hosting sounds like the right combo to me.
it will also allow you to make an rss feed for people to subscribe too. |

I ended up going with bluehost and wordpress. Squarespace seems good, though. Hopefully I didn't make a bad choice. |

Chet,
Just saw this. But you made a wise choice with Bluehost, so long as you don't have to stream too much content from your site. I use them as one of my cheap servers and they always work and have GREAT customer service I've used many times.
I just started up a video style blog (for interviews) and used a wordpress template that was free , travelogue is the name. Cool and see it here. - http://eflclassroom.com/eltinterviews
Good luck,
