I heard that the days of the three opening round South Africa-hosted 2010 World Cup of Soccer games for South Korea are OFF, the hagwon will be closed, the director's wife saying they are "national holidays".

Have you heard likewise?

Now I gotta figure out exactly which days they are (1 am local time the day following the official date means the following day is off, eh? to let the nation of eager watchers sleep in, I'm assuming...).

Go South Korea! (If they make it out of the first round then each subsequent game would fall on another holiday I presume. Gotta love rabid nationalistic fervor sometimes.)

Well, the times for two of Korea's Group B games are at a prime time for Korea (8:30 p.m. KST against Greece and Argentina). The Nigeria game will be at 3:30 a.m.

And of course, no World Cup would be complete without the requisite nonsensical supporter t-shirt.
