Hey everyone,

A friend of mine recently got a job offer for a school called Wales in Mapo-gu (Seoul). The school is located near Gwangheungchang station. They have a website (http://mapo.walesedu.com/) but other then that we weren't able to find any other information regarding the school.

We tried searching around on Dave's, but typing in "Wales" gets you tons of results about the country, not the school. We tried Google as well, but again, none of the results provide any information on this school in Seoul.

Does anyone have any information about this school? Anyone worked there or know someone who did?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Good location it has to be said.

As for the school itself, i've no idea. Maybe its a case of 'No news is good news'. Or maybe it's just real small with few foreign teachers to make comments.

Try the various esl groups on facebook, you might find comments there.

I worked there before they changed the name to wales language school, and when i was working there, I was the only foreign teacher. This was probably about 2 or 3 years ago. Since that time, they've grown a bit bigger and renovated their building, and hired quite a few foreign teachers, I know this because I stopped by there once last year just to say hi to some of my old co-workers. The owners name is James, and he has an assistant named Andy, they are both pretty nice people. I never had any problems working there, but that was before they became bigger, so I can't say exactly say what the situation is like now, but I imagine it can't be bad.

One of the best things I liked about working there was that I had housing close to sinchon
