Gotta admit, I started skimming after a while, but it seems like all of your problems

a. are incredibly minor
or
b. don't make any sense
or
c. involve a series of people becoming quite annoyed with you

Just sayin'

"After the deep thinking and reflection I thought that" you are a Korean writing in English.

BTW, did you contact any of the teachers before accepting a job? Due diligence is step one in landing a decent job in Korea.

I find it very hard to believe, after reading the OP's essay, that he is a native speaker. If he is, then the standard of Western education must be far worse than I had previously imagined.

Ha.....if it is not a strange and somewhat opaque satire of a shiftless foreign English teacher by a Korean, then it is at the very least a lesson showing that one should not post their blog entry on this site.

Honestly, it sounds as if you are just not a very flexible person to work with. You mention incidents that they get mad at you for and then casually gloss over them as if they're not valid.

I'm not saying your hagwon bosses have been saints, but I think you have too much of an internal dialogue going on when you should be communicating more with your bosses (and agreeing to do simple requests that they ask of you).

I think if I were a boss, and you were my employee, I'd also end up wanting to let you go, no matter how stellar your classes were. It seems like you're just a big headache to MGMT. No hagwon boss wants to deal with that.

Hi There,

I can, but I will not proove it for you. I will only proove it for the OP.

If you think teachers from other countries have the same level of teaching competence as native english speakers I have one question.

Why do you care?

I suspect we both have too much time on our hands. Laughing

I have one of my own. Why don't you get a spellchecker for your browser? Firefox comes with one built in. Just saying.

Ooh be careful. I called someone out for spelling errors and was called a grammar Nazi.

I love you, by the way Smile

That would be Australia...she mentions contacting the Australian embassy and also inquiring about pension refunds for Australians.

However I agree that for a native speaker there is indeed something peculiar about her writing; "Other problem was bed", and the general lack of 'high frequency words' - the, a, my, it, etc.
