anybody know if these are easy to find in Seoul, can I just walk into an E-mart or home-plus? Or will I need to track down an actually bike shop? Once I find said bike shop how do I communicate what it is I need? |

A bike shop is a better bet. But, it'll likely be about the same price or maybe even a bit cheaper (not to mention a whole lot more durable) to just take your bike to a shop and have the mechanic put in a new tube. |

Labor here is free, so you only pay for the new tube/tire.
That said, when you're on your bike and you get a flat 45 miles away from the nearest bike shop a repair kit will help.
That said, not a lot of basic shops carry them. You'll have to find a MTB enthusiast shop to find repair kits.
Personally, I don't bother... I can never get the patches to stick so I just carry an extra tube. It's faster too. |

Are all over the place in Korea. The one close to me was very helpful. If I ever have trouble communicating in Korean, I have one of my Korean co-workers write it out in Korean and I hand the paper. |

I usually keep a spare tube with me when I ride, plus a patch kit. If I get a flat then I replace the tube, much fast. Then I patch the punctured one when I get home and I have a nice clean work area. I hate it when people throw away tubes just because they got a flat! Recycle and repair! |
