I have a 32 inch PAVV hdtv I am using as a monitor but the display is all messed up.
I loaded the newest driver for my vid card but it didn't help.
Is there a special driver for the t.v. itself that I should download and install? |

Could you be more specific than "all messed up"?
There's not a special driver for the TV, but the refresh rate may need to be changed (on the vid card) to match the TV.
But, yeah, more details would be nice. |

you probably need to reduce your resolution. My 32" PDP's native resolution is only 1024X768, and anything higher than that starts looking like garbage. |

I also use a 32" Samsung PAVV HDTV/LCD etc etc
It should be 1360 X 768 resolution.
If you are using NVIDIA graphics card - and you have installed the NVIDIA driver then go to your control panel and select the "NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL" option and change your resolution to 1360 X 768 |

Great! However, whenever you install NVIDIA updates (via Windows update) - it will revert back to bad resolution.
Just install the update then do the same thing again - go to your control panel and select the "NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL" option and change your resolution to 1360 X 768
Now if only someone would give me a solution to my problem -
