I am looking to find an apartment near the Wangsimni/Cheongnyangni/Sinseoul-dong (Stations) area of Seoul. I am looking for a basic one room or one bedroom apartment and am wondering if anyone knows the average monthly rent in that area and average key deposit.
I don't need anything fancy and do not want to have to put down a large key deposit.... Any info? I had heard that area isn't that expensive.

| I don't know any specifics because I don't pay for my housing, but Cheongnyangni, and Dongdaemun-gu in general, is old, smelly, dirty, and generally awful. Rent should be cheap compared to areas that aren't hellholes. |
