Hey, I just moved to the Anam station area and I'm wondering if anyone has any info on fun bars or good restaurants.

Am I right in thinking that the main entertainment area for Korea University is the stretch of road heading away from Anam station down to the rotary?

I lived there for a number of years, up until 2008. Places change quickly, so I probably can't be of much use. We used to go to the California Bar a lot though. It is off the main street on a side road to the left heading toward Anam Sageori. They had reasonable pitchers, very accomodating barmaids, and an internet jukebox. No idea if they're still "foreign friendly" though. Aside from that, I believe Seokgye ECC houses their teachers there, meaning there should be at least 7 or 8 folks around. Perhaps someone will chime in. The link below may be helpful too.
