| Hey guys so I applied to RECAS Academy and was offered a job there. But this was before I found out that they had that SAT scandal with the SAT teacher who had the false certifications and like hacked into ETS and was giving his students the actual test questions. This guy also said that his boss kidnapped and beat him up! So you can see why I'm pretty nervous now about this job. I've also heard that they are in danger of closing down because of this and other legal issues about unauthorized use of textbooks. Does anyone have any information about this? I want to know if there is truth in all these rumors. Any insight and recommendations? Thanks! |

the scandal definitely raises some questions about management there and their ethics and integrity..
but i'm not so sure that you have anything to worry about, physically (safety-wise). Unless you're a superstar SAT teacher who makes millions for the academy and are threatening to leave |

| Though these rumors about their sketchiness may be true, I know that they do pay better than most other hakwons. |
