I bought this graphics card a couple of months ago and used it for a while (it was a secondary card just so that I could run more than 2 monitors). I'm giving my girlfriend one of my monitors so I don't need it any more. It was making my system a bit unstable anyway (because I'm using it on a Hackintosh, not because there is a problem with the card) so I'm just going to get rid of it. If anybody wants it, I can meet at Yeokgok station on line 1. Since I'm giving it away, I'm not going to travel anywhere else. Sure, it costs between 30,000-40,000 won to buy it new, but it is essentially worthless because demand for 8400GS graphics cards is basically zero.
It has one DVI output and one HDMI output. When I was using the card with Snow Leopard, I couldn't use the HDMI output unless the DVI output was also being used. I think this is probably a Snow Leopard/Hackintosh quirk. If you are using it in Windows, you should be able to use either the DVI, HDMI, or both outputs.
You won't be able to use it to play any games. I'm not sure why anybody would want it (unless you have a special circumstance like mine). I suppose if you are running integrated graphics or a really old graphics card and want to add DVI or HDMI output, it will be good for you. Or, if you have space for 2 PCIE cards, you can use it to run an additional 2 monitors.
First person to contact me gets first dibs on the card. Just send a PM. |
