Just a heads up, the Cellphone store at Noksapyeong station is offering monthly contracts through LG for a base price of 30,000 W/month + the phone cost. It's the cellphone store that's right next to Istanbul.

I thought I'd post because I've been getting rebuffed for like 3 months now (screw a 250,000 down payment) and it was nice to find a guy who knew what the hell he was talking about. The signup was hassle free and I have a pretty nice Cyon/Iriver haptic phone (70,000W). Downside is that it's only LG and the phone selection is very limited, although I told him he should work on that

I'm pretty sure you can get a plan from Oz - which is the same as LG, I believe - anywhere. All the ofreign teachers at my school have plans, and none of them had any problem getting them. I've heard it's impossible for foreigners to get plans, but I don't know where this erroneous information comes from. They even gave me a contract that went five months past my ARC expiry.
