| I was wondering if anyone could tell me what Nonsan is like currently. There are some old posts from a few years back but nothing that seems recent. Also, anyone know about the Boys Middle school there? |

| Nonsan is a small city with a pretty good grocery store that sells food and drinks from all over Asia; a Phillipino bondega; a bunch of hillbillies from the adjacent Bu Yeo County (no man's land for sure); a sort of decent Tesco-Home Plus dept. store; and, it has a big Korean air farce base with wicked loud planes that zoom all around Nonsan and West Nonsan and Bu Yeo Gun.and stuff. I'd say that that's about it. |

an accurate description!
there's also a strawberry festival in the spring.
Daejeon is the closest metropolitan city to Nonsan, but there is also a KTX there, so it's easy to get to Seoul. |
