I am in my second year at a school in Busan and very happy there.

How many years can you stay at the same school?

Do any of you have 3, 4 or 5 years at the same school? |

Korean teachers have a 5 year limit at any one school.

I am not aware of any limit for NETs. I was at my last school for more than 3 years when I changed jobs.

Not sure what they'd do if a NET stays at the same school for more than 5 years. But it's all up to the local office.

Korean teachers at public schools are limited to about 3-5 years. This varies depending on local rules and if the school is rural or not. In larger cities the term sometimes is 3 years because most teachers want to work in urban areas and are popular by request.

In private-public school teachers can stay for their whole careers. |

I'm quite sure you have to leave after your 2nd year and let a noob take your place.

Thanks. |

				| I'm in my third year at the same school. I don't know if they will re-sign me. I'm going to make outrageous contract demands if they do. |

				| I've met 3 people under EPIK contracts who have been at their schools for 5+ years. I don't think there's a limit as long as your school is happy with you and your work. Some people also move up the ranks and become district coordinators, if they choose that path. |
