Hey!

I'm going to be arriving in to Busan next week and am just wondering how the weather is in Korea at the moment?! Has it gotten really hot yet? Im trying pack and Im not sure what type of clothes I'll need for the immediate future!

Also my boyfriend will be starting straight away and me two weeks later, so will I be able to beach it? Or is it still a little nippy? Ive been in Korea before, but I just cant remember in what month the weather got hotter!

Well up in the cold north of Seoul I'm finding it hard to breath from the heat sometimes, inhaling pure heat. In a great way, I'm in no way complaining. However I'm from England so anything above room temperature will melt my skin.

Still pretty cloudy though.

It's really great. You couldn't have picked a better time to arrive. Clear crisp sunshine, yesterday. Today was hazy, but still sunny and pleasant.

rainy and humid and too warm to sleep - must turn on the air conditioner (tonight... NOW.. that's why i'm awake Confused )

it's 21 C outside officially at 1am but it's 25 C according to my apartment reading and with all the windows flung open and feeling too warm and muggy i gotta go air con on the room

but I'm on jeju in the southernmost region, not in seoul nor busan (busan is bearable until mid-June, then uncomfortable until mid-September or early October

Feels about 39 to me. I'm pretty sure I'm dead right now.

we've had some great weather in seoul yesterday, but i definitely wouldn't describe it as hot. i think it'll be ok for the beach, but if you're thinking of swimming, you'll probably have to wait a few more weeks for the water to warm up.

Humidity has been a little high lately (this is more typical of August/September humidity) but it'll probably drop again soon. Typically, 25c in Seoul will often feel like 30-35 due to the amount of water in the air.

the haze you've seen in the air over the last week wasn't humidity, it was yellow dust, the peninsula was covered by it until last night, with particulate levels in the 100-200 range, now back to the 20-60 range
