Anyone know a good, free program to rip a website (download for offline use)? |

Opera 10 has firefly built in which lets you see the html code. You can copy and paste this into an editor |

I think it would take too long to go to each page within the main one and manually save each one. Just looking for a program, where if you put in the URL, it will automatically go through all the links on the page and save those too.
That way, I can access the entire website offline.
I did a google search and most of the programs I found were trial versions, or had incomplete functionality until you paid for it. Jsut wondering if anyone know a good, free program to grab a site rip. |

If you are comfortable with the command line and basic programming you may be able to use GNU Wget. I think you can download the source code and compile it on Windows. If you have access to Linux, BSD or OS X, you can more easily use it on one of those systems, too. I'm pretty sure it comes pre-installed on most Linux and BSD OSes (not sure about OS X). |
