Hi All,

Does anybody know of a good dressmaker in Seoul or maybe even Osan area? My sister needs to have a dress made for a ball in a few weeks.
I know there are a lot of tailors and seamstresses around but she's a bit concerned about getting a good quality dress.

Any recommendations? Someone you've tried?

Martina really likes this dress shop in Hongdae. It's close to Vinyl (the place where they sell booze in ziploc bags), on the same street. Walk towards the university a bit and you'll see a cool little shop selling nothing but women's clothing. The woman who owns the shop speaks English fluently. She has girl who makes dresses from scratch after taking your measurements.

Martina bought a couple of her dresses off the rack and really likes them. In a couple of weeks we should go back and get one made. Don't know the name of the place, unfortunately.

Not sure how much it is to make a custom dress yet because we haven't done so. Each dress ran a bit over 100,000 won.

Simonandmartina...sorry if I am making an assumption, but is your website: eatyourkimchi.com? If it is, will you be making a video about the dressmaking experience, just like you did with the custom-made shirts for Simon?

Yeah, that�s us. We're not sure if we're going to be making a video about this place because we don't know about the dress quality yet, if it's worth it or not. But if it turns out to be great and Martina's happy then, yeah, we'll probably make a video about it, and probably recycle some Shazam jokes as well.
