That is a good question. Unfortunately, I can't help you.
I am happy about the release of these computers using the new "Intel GMA HD" integrated graphics solution, though. I think I might get a Dell Latitude E6510 with the integrated graphics chipset and hackintosh it. I'm just waiting for confirmation that it will be fully supported. |

Why don't you just walk into a store and find out? It'd be strange to be able to order them online but not in the store - unless they're out of stock. |

On their site it says 3 weeks to ship... I'm not currently around a store, since i'm visiting outside of Seoul, but instead was seeing if anyone had an idea... |

It's going to take about 3 weeks for the Macbook Pros to clear the government red tape concerning radio interference certification. I imagine that there's a warehouse of Macbook Pros just waiting for the red tape to clear, so they should be available in stores about the same time they're available online. (With a 3 week shipping time, they're still not really available online.) |

Frisbee store told me "about 3 weeks" yesterday. Seems in line with what previous posters have suggested. |

You mean "mark up" right? And i don't know how that's possible. I've never seen the Apple Store have different price from the stores.
Looks like it will be 3 weeks just like the shipping date on the Apple Korea web site. I was told that at a# |

Just in case anyone was still wondering, these are now available. There is an official Mac reseller in Seoul. The store's name is "Frisbee." There are two locations that I'm aware of. One is in Hongdae and the other is in Myeongdong.
There are two differences between a Korean-purchased Macbook and an American-purchased Macbook. The power adapter's head will be for Korean outlets and the keyboard will include Korean characters on the upper-right-hand corner of each key in addition to the standard English characters. Note that the power adapters' heads are interchangeable and if you wish to switch to an American head you will not need to purchase a new adapter.
The OS is the same no matter what country you buy it in.
I was told foreign hagwon teachers are not eligible for a teacher's discount.
Hope that helps. |

Do you order from the Frisbee stores themselves? How much is the discount? |
