I have Skylife and it has a host of what I thought were interesting channels, yet I'm already waiting for other choices to come up. The History Channel has good programs but it seems the History Channel broadcast here is not the same as the one aired throughout Asia.
Discovery HD and and the Discovery Channel are both duds, the former because the volume of HD content seems to be less than that of SD and the latter because of uninteresting programs. I had high hopes for the Sundance channel but that also hasn't had much to be interested in.
I'm REALLY hoping Skylife adds BBC Knowledge, which is offered by SK Broadband IPTV and Hello D. |

NONE.
Back in '03 and '04 I watched CGV and two other movie channels I can't recall the name of.
Life is much better without TV in so many ways. |

Have Skylife too but don't watch a lot of TV except for the football! If you find the Korean Science channel they have 2 hours of BBC Knowledge programs between 8 and 10 weekday nights (not sure about weekends).QTV has Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares from 8:45 on Thursday(?) and Friday nights but that gets a bit mundane after a while.
Agree there's not much to watch though.Even the BBC Entertainment Channel has pretty crap programmes bar the occasional mini drame (State of Play was excellent and can watch Extras repeatedly).Newsnight This Week and a few of the magazine type news programs on BBc World are ok (better than CNN).
Better off with a good book or Dvds! |

I watch CGV, On Style (Top Chef and Biggest Loser!), and Super Action because their Arnold and Jean Claude Van Damme obsession amuses me.
I don't have the nicer subscription for it, but if I did I'd watch BBC. It looks like my cable service provider has a nice BBC suite but I have no idea how to expand my cable plan! |

I was raised without a TV. parents thought it was better for me to be outdoors doing stuff rather than sitting on a couch.
With hindsight they were right, of course. Although I still remember being the only one without a TV at school and pretending to everyone that I had a TV..lol. |

We have skylife but I am considering dumping it. I havn't watched TV in over a month and really have no desire to. My wife still wants it but she hasn't watched much either. |

I only watch what's available on Beta. I hear there's more available on VHS but damned if I'm going to dish out for one of those machines! |

i have whatever super-cheap package was already set up in my apartment when i arrived ... and i pretty much only watch Channel J, ha. It's nice to switch to listening to Japanese after hearing Korean and English at work, and I find the Japanese shows to be a lot better for relaxing. (I love Nodame and hot spring tours with old ladies, ha.) |

I remember looking at the SkyLife channels and they didn't seem too appealing, so I decided to stick with the American Forces Network (which is the only English channel I get). It shows decent shows sometimes and shows live NHL hockey on Saturdays, which is awesome.
Not a big deal, since my favorite channel is USA Network, which I torrent back home anyway (since Canada doesn't get it)... No change in routine. |

I like the FOX channel 203. Lots of cool shows. I also like the Aussie Channel which has some cool documentaries and stuff. Also CMBC has some interesting shows. also OCN, Super-Action/CGV, etc. for movies. Discovery kind of sucks. BBC & CNN are ok. |

The only problem with Discovery Channel is that it's become the Dangerous Jobs channel. |

Where are you? You still get AFN? Lucky person! I lost AFN a while ago. I used to enjoy the late show and the very late show on AFN. |
