that's the post. it's for korea poly school. I was just interviewed for 1.5 hours- great interview. they seem extremely professional and committed to learning (which I value). They offered me a job at the end of the interview (he's canceling the other interviews) bc it went so well. It's specifically for an F-4 position in mokdong.

however- i dunno much about them or their school. this is my first time trying to find a job in korea. i'm korean american.

but it all seems so fast???
i'd be flying out to seattle on the 26th for 2 days of training then to korean on the 28th. that's like in 13 days!!

i asked to speak to a teacher- so i'm waiting for that. but he's supposed to send a contract tonight after he speaks with the school director. she's rejected 3 candidates already.

i've applied for all manner of schools, and i still have my EPIK/SMOE interview next tuesday. i was even hoping for university positions but haven't even had a chance to interview (if i get one). i have a master degree and some teaching experience (but not in korea).

not sure what to do at this point.
not sure what to consider.
not sure what to ask for.
not even sure what to look for in the contract.

or whether i should just turn it down and head to korea until i find something.

advice, please!! i have to decide like in a couple of days!!

I just accepted a position with them starting in July. The school looks good. What shift are you going to do? The morning/afternoon shift seems really long.

The only complaint I have so far is that the HR person I interviewed with does not always reply to my e-mails. I have sent him a few e-mails about the visa process, travel, and moving to Korea with no response. I do not know if he is too busy or is just ignoring me.

I researched them online and most of the posts I read were positive. Some posts were negative but that is to be expected.

That is all the information I have regarding them.
