Can someone give me a recommendation for a good Korean BBQ or seolleongtang place in any of these areas? I know there's tons of Korean BBQ everywhere but I want one that can be considered good.
I'm meeting up with my Korean friend from the US who is here on his honeymoon with his Caucasian-American wife. I assume Korean BBQ or seolleongtang is "American-friendly" for her tastes. |

For a famous 삼계탕 restaurant go to Gyeongbukgung Station (Line 3).
Take exit 2. You will walk for about 5 minutes. Once you spot a GS 25 on your left (on a corner), turn down that street. You should see a huge line outside of a restaurant. That is it!
The name is 토속촌 and everyone has heard of it (all of the presidents have eaten there).
I would highly recommend not going during peak hours (11,30-1 and 6-7pm) as you will be stuck in a very long line.
The food is nice and the atmosphere is traditional. I believe it was 13,000W for 삼계탕. |
