Is it possible to find decent housing that is not insanely expensive in Seoul? I live out by Gimpo airport and the place I rented is dreadful (an officetel) and I'm paying like 500 a month. I find that everything I look at is awful! In Chicago I could at least find some good stuff and decent prices in different areas. It feels like here, no matter where in the city you are, you'll be stuck with crap. Anyone have any advice? Are you in the same situation? |

I'm wondering if you're actually living in a Villa (which tend to be crap) as opposed to an actual Officetel.
That being said, some officetels are very small with thin walls. However, i've lived in some really nice spacious modern officetels.
Why not try the 'nearsubway.com' website which was mentioned in another thread about the Gilbert guy. |
