Check with customs in the UK...why are you asking this here????

Customs should have clear guidelines of what you can bring in and in what quantities....

Its not rocket science.

It would logically depend on how long you have been away and on the goods you bring back.

Bringing more than the limit and declaring it means you pay duty on the extra goods (in Canada anyway). You can also fill your suitcases with baekseju and hope you make it through. Laughing

Edit: through the 'magic' of google...

Quote:
When travelling from a non-EU country you can bring the following into the UK for your own use without paying UK tax or duty:

200 cigarettes; or 100 cigarillos; or 50 cigars; or 250g of tobacco
4 litres of still table wine
16 litres of beer
1 litre of spirits or strong liqueurs over 22% volume; or 2 litres of fortified wine (such as port or sherry), sparkling wine or other liqueurs
390 worth of all other goods including gifts and souvenirs

and...

Alcohol allowances
You can bring in either, but not both, of the following:

1 litre of spirits or strong liqueurs over 22 per cent volume
2 litres of fortified wine (such as port or sherry), sparkling wine or any other alcoholic drink that's less than 22 per cent volume
Or you can combine these allowances. For example, if you bring in one litre of fortified wine (half your full allowance) you can also bring in half a litre of spirits (half your full allowance). This would make up your full allowance. You can't go over your total alcohol allowance.

In addition you may also bring back both of the following:

16 litres of beer
4 litres of still wine

Well I appreciate that you found that, perhaps I should have worded my question better. What I meant was, having seen the information on the customs website, what is Baekseju classed as? Still table wine at 4 litres or fortified wine at 2 litres?

I was hoping that someone may have taken some back before and known.
