I can only see on the korean immigration website 'checking the result of an application for a CEVI'. But where do send your scanned degree in the first place to see if it will be eligible? Is there a link? The visa dept in London just said to send an apostille of your original, but can't you do it online via email? If not, who do you post an apostille to and how much does it cost?

I'm under the impression that three and four year undergraduate degrees from State-accredited third level institutions comprise the basic education qualification to get an E2 visa.

You'll get an apostille on a photocopy of your degree scroll from the Foreign Office, once the photocopy has itself been authenticated by the college or by a notary public.

Hi

Yes I know all that but mine is from a UK institution and is a degree but not a BA. Nevertheless it is a 4-year full-time degree and my question is where do I email it to have it assesssed? I can only see the page to check for a decision (result) of a certificate already presented.

Who do I email (who do employers email if they are not sure even?) and how much does it cost

So, it seem that you are asking for a list of degree granting institutions or actual degree programs which are accepted or rejected by Korean Immigration.

Korean Immigration does refuse E2 visas to graduates of certain institutions, and there is a blacklist of universities and other degree granating institutions that are considered unacceptable for E2 visa qualification, but I don't know if you can access it. It might be possible for an employer to ask Immigration before submitting all the documents. However, it would be a red flag to your future employer for you to make such a suggestion.

Haven't you been talking about coming to Korea/looking for a job for something like two years? And you're still at the stage of figuring out whether your degree is valid?
